Religion and Politics

Dear God what possessed me to write this post. A desire to alienate as many readers as possible?

It could.

Actually the opposite. It's in the spirit of unity.

Amazingly the status quo, regardless of political party or religious sect, is to tear down the “other team” - if not annihilate them.

I force down the impulse to wrestle with the question of why that is the case, in order to muse over a few more direct points.
